A small electrical charge (48Volts DC) is supplied to our electronic driver which produces afrequency of 1.65 MHz (ultrasonic), necessary for the transducer to vibrate. Water sitting on the transducer is literally hit at one million six hundreds and fifty thousands vibrations a SECOND !!!!!!

With the effect of breaking water down into droplets by the size of 1 to 5 microns (atmospheric fog outdoors is approximately 15-20 microns). Water droplets of that size (less than 5 microns) have the particularity to stay floating in the air even if heavier than air. With the result that you can climb up to 97% relative humidity WITHOUT water condensation on floors, walls, equipment, packaging and specially the products stored (fruits, vegetables, flowers, seedlings, eggs, cheese, mushrooms, fish, meat, bread, paper, cardboard and wood, etc.).

Having no water deposit on perishables practically eliminate spoilage, and improves quality (appearances, hardness, etc.) Also, by having the ability to raise relative humidity over 90% in warehouses, we are able to avoid some important weight lost (usually from 5% to 20%).

Another advantage of these small water droplets, is that they penetrate air very easily, with the result of not needing any particular distributing system, even in quite larger rooms. Relative humidity will balance itself in a very short period of time (minutes).

Our ultrasonic fog generators are also environmental friendly. They are energy savers (MDFD-1 takes less than 1 amp and the MDFD-6 less than 6 amps). And there is important water savings (since the water stays suspended in the air, there is no loses on the ground).

Another use of ultrasonic fogging technology is to transport materials inside the water droplets. Products that are water soluble will be broken down at the same time as water and will become part of the droplets.

The product will be transported to the fogged area. We can specially think of products like insecticides, disinfectants, coatings, etc. With the amazing result of penetrating minute spaces (like every sheet of paper in a pile or cracks in walls), and hard places to treat (like inside ventilation systems and ducts, under plant leaves, etc.), WITHOUT WETTING THEM.

Note: it is sometimes impossible to fog some materials (ex: oils and hydrocarbons) and some of these may damage the Foggers.
